Heritage in Action DaysKING016525
Lots of holiday fun and things to do at our famous Heritage in Action days at the Highland Folk Museum. On Thursday 11, 18 and 25 July and 1, 8 and 15 August we will be demonstrating seasonal crafts and traditional skills across the site, including spinning, wool-waulking (with Gaelic work songs!), dyeing, butter-making, leather-working, rope-making, pole-lathe and wood-turning, together with coracles at the pond, children’s games at the school and Highland games on the shinty pitch. Come along and have a go!
