| A fun morning with the rangers on the Kildonan River, panning for gold and river dipping. Discover life under the water and the creatures which live there. The Kildonan gold rush may be long over but you might be lucky to find some gold or semi precious stones. All equipment will be provided but please wear welly boots and bring snack/drink. Wear suitable outdoor clothing. Midge repellent may be useful. Children will be transported to and from the strath from Helmsdale. Please meet at Helmsdale primary school car park. | |
