| This is your big chance to get close up and personal with Assynt’s special wildlife. Follow the Ranger as he monitors some of the wildlife that occurs around Lochinver. Help check our moth trap, catch and identify dragonflies, check for slow worms, electro-fish for young salmon, visit the small mammal traps and see what we have caught in our trail cameras and more. Bring packed lunch warm clothes and wellies. It costs £9.73 per visitor to operate our Countryside Ranger Service. We make no charge for this event but we rely on your donations to help us protect our Highland wildlife and heritage. | |
